Research: measurement, not a fake benchmark
Motif will not publish a 200-site conversion table it did not measure. This hub is the opposite: the rules, limits, and failure modes you need to run the study on your own Stripe account.
What belongs here
Product-true notes: how first touch is stored, why assistant hosts stay separate sources, why crawler User-Agents are not visitors, and why Search Console stays aggregate. External papers are cited as external papers.
What does not belong here
Per-engine revenue-per-visitor leaderboards without a named sample, inclusion rule, and limitation. If Motif later publishes a cohort study, it will name the window, the join, and what was dropped. Until then, use the methodology pages and your dashboard.
External work we point at
Aggarwal et al., 2024, 'GEO: Generative Engine Optimization' (Princeton / IIT Delhi / et al.) measured visibility lifts from citations and statistics on a retrieval surface. That paper is not Motif data. Treat vendor crawler documentation as vendor documentation, dated by the vendor.
In this section
Where is Motif's 200-site benchmark?
There is not one. Publishing numbers from a cohort we do not operate would be a content tactic, not research. The methodology pages tell you how to read your own join.
Can I reproduce Motif's channel names?
Yes. Assistant referrer hosts, crawler tokens, and UTM precedence are documented on these pages and implemented in the public classifier. The referrer tool applies the documented subset in the browser.
